Where To Find Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl Peroxide is one of the chemicals used to take care of acne symptoms and can be found in a number of products that can be found over the counter for acne symptom treatment. The types of products it can be found in are gels and creams, lotions and various cleaners. In order to maintain a non-prescription status the concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide in these products sits between 2.5 and 10%.

This is a very effective way of treating acne that is mild and has no inflammation. Unlike other treatments, it is safe to use on children and with other forms of treatment.

Benzoyl Peroxide works by killing off a particular type of bacteria called P. acnes, which are actually the bacteria that causes acne. It also has properties that can help it to prevent the blockage of pores and like other formed of peroxide has an antiseptic and oxidizing property. It is not however an overnight treatment so expect to see results in 14-21 days at the earliest.

It also does nothing to increase the body’s immune system therefore if you are prone to acne you should continue to treat areas even after symptoms have disappeared in order to prevent the bacteria from returning.

There are also prescription strength medications, which contain this ingredient. These are used for cases of acne, which have been unresponsive to over the counter treatments. As with any medication, be sure to read and follow all directions and warnings before beginning use. If you notice, any symptoms or side effects, which are cause for concern, contact your doctor. Some acne medications should not have a sudden treatment termination so be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects you may notice while using this product

If you are using an over the counter medication you are looking at a concentration of between 2.5 and 10%. Even in this low concentration, Benzoyl peroxide can cause dryness in the skin. It is the most common side effect of this medication. It usually is not a cause of irritation and a oil free light moisturizer should alleviate the problem. Lower concentrations can also help, if you experience an issue with dryness, stop using the product, allow your skin to recover and then try a new product with a lower concentration.

Skin irritation can occur if this occurs simply decrease use if it still continues stop using the product.

If you experience dry, red, itchy skin, discontinue use as this may be sign of an allergy and treat with an anti itch cream.

hi guys welcome back to my channel it's me mj smith how are you i hope you are having a fabulous day for today's video we're going to talk about my acne update on my acne update after the treatment  you notice guys i have not have any visible cystic acne on my face it took me seven months to finally get rid of my acne it's been a hard and you know  emotional experience i don't want if i could i don't wish anybody to experience that because there is really you know killing your self-esteem and it is really bad it's been nine months now and yeah so far it works and hopefully it stays that way for you guys that doesn't know or receive my 4 months updates check the link above i explained in there the side effects and what i've experienced while on the treatment and yeah it's been a hard and rough treatment but it is worth it having the treatment because it helps me a lot and it really get rid of my acne or my cystic acne it does leave few scars if you see in the photos i have a few dark spots and scars not that bad considering how bad it is my acne while on treatment now i could say that you know it is worth it having the treatment i wish i did it before when i experienced it earlier i wish i did go and visit dermatologists and i could get help quicker and avoid having those scars because some of the scars on my face is it's before the treatment and i think checking my past pictures before the treatment i've noticed that i already had the scars i don't care you guys you know if there's a scars there's i don't care  as long as i don't see any acne or cystic acne on my face i'm glad i finally get rid of it and yeah guys if you're suffering for cystic acne right now go get some help don't try and do it yourself i've been there and i spent quite a lot of money trying to do it myself buying expensive cheap products but for me based on my experience it doesn't really work you know it's just spending money for nothing you're just making your pimples you know getting worse after the medication i always apply moisturizer i apply toner i always apply my sunscreen you know moisturize my lips everything that could help my skin improve my skin routine you guys i wash my face i'm using this clearly corrective brightening and exfoliating daily cleanser by kels i really love this because it really clean your face or cleanse your face i always apply face mask twice a week this is what i'm using this is the tea tree one i also use the green tea to hydrate my face and this is my toner this is from dr reynold this is a lime toning lotion i always have donor morning and evening i sprayed it on my face and massaged it so have this lifting and pore tightening concentrate also apply this night and day my moisturizer i'm using the kills the mythology solution this one right here the benefit with this is that it clears and helps your skin to improve and help brightens my skin and smoothen it so it is a treatment this is a very good moisturizer and also you guys don't escape your face protection lotion with an spf of 50 you have to have a spf 50 whether you're going to mall inside the office or like going for exercise don't skip your spf because it really helps  protect your skin so that's it you guys i've shown you my skincare and my updates so i hope it helps  and if you're new in my channel guys please hit the subscribe button and click the bell to be  notified each time i upload new videos thank you and i hope to see you on the next one bye
