One of the best ways to reduce acne is to follow a daily routine that provides you with the necessary steps to prevent a break out. These steps if done daily will eliminate the majority of your acne symptoms in most cases.
First, use a mild soap like Dove or Ivory. This should be done twice a day, if it makes it easier to remember wash first thing in the morning and last thing before bed at night. You can also wash using a soap that contains Benzoyl Peroxide if you want to add a medicated solution to your washing routine. It is important to remember not to scrub but to wash gently. This is to prevent irritation to the skin.
If you have, long hair remember to keep it out of the face and off your shoulders if you are prone to acne breakouts. The oil from your hair brushing your face can cause breakouts to occur. If possible, wash your hair daily.
When shaving be sure to heat the area, then apply shaving gel or cream and shave with the growth grain of the hair. Be sure to use only a single bladed razor. If feasible, use a fresh razor every time you shave. This helps to prevent infections.
For those who wear makeup be sure to use hypoallergenic or sensitive skin cosmetics. If possible, avoid wearing any at all in the areas you are most likely to break out.
Scaring and infections are possible if you pick or attempt to deal with your blemishes in any other way than a normal acne treatment, so it is best to avoid doing this.
Use an acne medication, these are easy to find and a number of different products are available. The two most common components to look for are Benzoyl Peroxide or salicylic acid. Start at the lowest concentration and work up to avoid side effects. If the product contains more than 5%, speak with a doctor before using this product. You should wait at least 30 minutes after you wash your face before applying these medicated products. This will help to reduce the dryness that can sometimes occur.
Eat healthy while foods have no direct link to acne providing your body with the necessary things it needs can help keep your skin healthy and that can help to prevent breakouts. You may also want to consider taking a daily vitamin supplement to help provide your body with the vitamins it needs.
hello so today i'll be showing you guys the process of my microneedling treatment i did get microneedling with prp I mostly got it done for my acne scars you can't really tell because I have makeup on right now but you'll see soon i'll show before pictures and after pictures and i'll walk you through the process so you'll see me at the um at the facility like getting it done getting numbed getting my blood taken out and then the nurse actually um needling my face so you'll get to see all of that you get to see my face what it looks like right after the procedure the next day and yeah I do a couple of updates towards the end and then at the end I'll show you my before and after pictures after six weeks. I am filming this right now after six weeks of my second treatment and yeah so you'll get to see that and at the end I'll give you guys my final thoughts. If I think it's worth it and you'll get to see like I said before and after pictures so yeah stay tuned if you want to see my microneedling process. I just got put numbing cream on my face and now I wait 20 minutes. The nurse just came in and took my blood out and so now i'm waiting for her to spin it and then she'll come back and start the procedure and it didn't hurt um she only took one tube of blood out but yeah it was fine all right so it's day two of getting microneedling with prp this is my face right now it's pretty red but that's expected and honestly i kind of like the look um my face is yeah really red pretty tight um this is it's three o'clock and i've moisturized three times already just to really keep it um moisturized and stuff and yeah um day two and three are my favorite because your skin looks really good because it's swollen um so it looks super like plump but then by day like four and five it goes back to normal so hopefully this time i see more results but yeah this is my progress as you can see it's really red you can totally tell i mean i just like summer but you can totally tell like something happened to my face but yep this is the update also i didn't record anything after like i got it done but the whole process is pretty painless this time um on my forehead region it did hurt a little but i think it's because um the nurse didn't put enough numbing cream and also they had me numbing for around 40 minutes which is more than usually it's 20 so i think also it was wearing off and i could actually feel it so it did hurt a little bit but my cheeks were super um numb so that didn't hurt at all like i literally couldn't feel anything um yeah then i just came home it did sting for a long time not itchy but it just stings um and it did sting for a long time like even when i was going to bed it still stung a little um but then i woke up and i rinsed off my face this morning and yeah i'm feeling good like i can't even tell that i did something to my face like it doesn't feel bad hot nothing feels good all right so just checking in it's day three monday and my skin looks pretty good i still look red you can't tell that much on camera but i do look red not as red as yesterday my skin is still really tight and swollen but probably by tomorrow day four the swelling would have gone down um by swimming i mean it's just plump like good swelling like i wish my skin looked like this um but i know that once the swelling goes down it won't look as good but yeah this is day three checking in on day five and no really new update other than my skin peeled a lot more today you can't really tell right now because i have a lot of lotion on my face but my face is like dry and i don't have any lotion on for instance when i washed it this morning it was like super peely like my forehead right here and then my cheek area but um yeah it's normal i'm not as swollen anymore but i really do feel like this time i'm getting more results versus my first treatment and i do think like that my skin is a little smoother but it could still be swollen so i don't know um i'd have to see after day seven i probably won't do a check-in tomorrow um just because i feel like there's not really a change i have a feeling that like for the rest of the days i mean they're just going to be peeling and just starting to be not as swollen yeah this is how my skin looks okay so it has been six weeks since my treatment and i think it went really well at first i didn't think i saw really a big difference but i just now looked at my before and after pictures like i just now compared them and i noticed a huge difference and i'm really happy with the treatment i did this is my second treatment okay so after my first treatment i saw progress but i think i saw more this time and i'm hoping i'll see even more the third time and like more as i continue on this journey but yeah this is my skin right now with makeup on and i'll show you guys i'll put up pictures of like my before and after pictures without makeup on so you can see the difference i did not think the difference was gonna be so dramatic or i did not think the change was gonna be so dramatic but i'm really happy with the results and i'm excited to get my third treatment i will say my hyperpigmentation did improve a lot but as far as texture goes i don't know at least when i put makeup on i can still see like the texture in my skin from my scars so i feel like the picture you can see like my acne scars still but i think in person they are a little more noticeable and so that's why i am planning on getting more treatments past like tomorrow's treatment i i think i want to do a total of five or maybe even six because although i think my hyperpigmentation has gone down a lot uh the texture could still use a big improvement so yeah i would definitely recommend the microneedling prp treatment if you have acne scars like me like similar to mine or even worse it is one of the cheaper options for acne scar treatments even though it's still it's still pricey but it is one of the cheaper options and i like it because it's not that risky so right they poked your face and then you look somewhere but it's not that big of a deal i have gotten a co2 laser treatment and that one's scary because it literally burns off your skin so yeah i'm really happy with the microneedling treatment and i do plan on doing another video for my third treatment and if you guys have any questions like where i went or how much it cost or just things like that make sure to leave them down below i can answer them or i'll even just answer them in the next video i yeah so i'll be getting it tomorrow my third treatment but yeah this is my process and i hope you guys enjoyed it and if you have acne or acne scars i hope this was encouraging that it does get better but yeah have a good day and thank you for watching my video
